This document outlines a proposed employee wellness program called ABYWE. The program aims to increase activity and healthy choices among desk employees to boost both individual and company productivity. It will target inactive employees and run from May to October, with evaluations monthly and potential extensions for those needing more time. Incentives include group workouts, longer lunches, flexible hours, discounted gym memberships and classes. Productivity is projected to increase 40% after 3 months and 60% after 6 months. Cost is estimated at $10,000 initially and incentives will be offered to promote participation and continued wellness.

2. IMPORTANCE
• Why this plan?
• The importance of this plan allows the average desk employee the chance to live a
more productive and active lifestyle. The increase of activity and healthy choices
have been proven to increase not only in a mere healthier workforce but also in the
productivity of the company as a whole. Based on this, we will offer many different
activities and benefits for taking part in our healthier lifestyle program.
3. PARTICIPANTS
• Who is the target?
• As stated in the first slide our target participants will be the average desk employee
and those who are not actively healthy. The importance of reaching out to our
employees who are not active because of being stuck behind their desk or who just
don’t eat right or slack on being active outside of work because they feel as though
they are active enough here.
4. TIMING
• When will this take effect and how long will the plan continue?
• The program will begin in May, and it will go month by month being evaluated by
those who participate in the program. If successful each month, the program maybe
a six month plan extending for those not yet capable of staying on the bandwagon.
This means if people are wanting to change but are not capable of staying healthier
within the six months or have more progress needed than others that we will not
just let them go through this alone because not everyone progresses on the same
levels.
5. INCENTIVES
• What is offered?
• Group breaks and meetings in order to promote collaborative workouts in the workplace
because some people hate feeling like they are the only ones working out.
• Giving the employees adequate lunch breaks (45 minutes to an hour) in order to give them
more time to be active.
• More optional work hours in order to keep our productivity high when the need arises.
• Health benefits offered to all employees working over a certain amount of hours based on
the consecutive span of six weeks.
• Gym memberships offered at a discounted annual rate for those who meet certain criteria
such as amount of time spent with company(no less than 90 days).
• Memberships to classes and gym programs specifically targetted to women during and after
child birth and other physical specific limitation factors both in house and at local gyms
associated with our company at a discounted price for both short and long term needs.
6. P(4)
• Product- With the time allotted to increase activity and healthy choices, we believe that
productivity should increase by 40% just in the first 3 months and by 60% in the last 3. To
measure this, we will be doing surveys. Products include comfortable seating for posture and
the healthier food choices that will be consumed by employees.
• Price- Prices vary on the equipment and food choices. At first, $10,000 would suffice to get
us started. Equipment would probably be the most costly while gyms memberships and food
service might be convinced to discount for advertisement and promotion throughout the
company and our sites.
• Placement- Every employee will benefit and be allowed to participation in individualized
plans. No one will be left out.
• Promotion- Time for increased activity without interfering with work or lunch, variety in
choices both health and programs, all are incorporated to promote a better view on our
company through our employee’s and outsider’s eyes.
7. STRUCTURE
• How do we proceed? Who do we go through?
• From our level…
• To our overhead human resource…
• To our program board of directors…
8. SHORT PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
• What kind is it?
• ABYWE is both an incentive and motivational plan. Incentives and motivations to
become more productive while also becoming a healthier you is our goal, and we
hope that participation and successful endeavor will motivate our employees to
continue the program either on their own or with us if we can keep it going.
