2. ΥΛΙΚΑ ΚΑΙ ΜΕΘΟΔΟΙ
• Αναζήτηση σε ηλεκτρονικές βάσεις δεδομένων δημοσιευμένης και αδημοσίευτης βιβλιογραφίας (MEDLINE,
EMBASE, Trials Register του Cochrane Oral Health Group και CENTRAL) και επιπλέον χειροκίνητη αναζήτηση
των προς επιλογή μελετών.
• Δύο συγγραφείς πραγματοποίησαν εξαγωγή δεδομένων ανεξάρτητα και εις διπλούν χρησιμοποιώντας
φόρμες συλλογής δεδομένων.
• Έλεγχος του κινδύνου μεροληψίας: Cochrane RoB 2.0 για τις τυχαιοποιημένες κλινικές δοκιμές (RCT) και
ROBINS-I για τις μη τυχαιοποιημένες.
ΣΚΟΠΟΣ
Αξιολόγηση της βιβλιογραφίας σχετικά με τη διαφορά της
δύναμης δεσμού των πάγιων ορθοδοντικών συσκευών με
την τεχνική της άμεσης και έμμεσης συγκόλλησης.
ΕΙΣΑΓΩΓΗ
• Η τεχνική έμμεσης συγκόλλησης περιγράφεται ως
πιο πλεονεκτική σε σύγκριση με την άμεση.
• Σε ιδανικές καταστάσεις, η ισχύς του δεσμού άμεσης
και έμμεσης συγκόλλησης φαίνεται να είναι
παρόμοια.
• Κλινικά, η έμμεση τεχνική είναι πιο ευαίσθητη σε
εξωτερικούς παράγοντες (περισσότερα
αποκολλημένα αγκύλια) με τη βιβλιογραφία να
περιέχει κατά κύριο λόγο in vitro μελέτες.

3. ΣΥΜΠΕΡΑΣΜΑΤΑ
• Παρόλο που η ποιότητα των πρωτογενών μελετών που περιλήφθηκαν
διέφερε μεταξύ τους, υπάρχει σημαντική τεκμηρίωση στη σύγχρονη
βιβλιογραφία που υποδηλώνει ότι οι δύο εξεταζόμενες τεχνικές δεν
διαφέρουν ως προς την αντοχή του δεσμού που παράγεται μετά την
τοποθέτηση των πάγιων ορθοδοντικών συσκευών.
• Αυτή η ανασκόπηση της υπάρχουσας βιβλιογραφίας in vivo μελετών
υπογραμμίζει τις σχετικές πληροφορίες σχετικά με την άμεση και
έμμεση δύναμη δεσμού.
ΑΠΟΤΕΛΕΣΜΑΤΑ
• Σε αυτήν τη συστηματική ανασκόπηση συμπεριλήφθηκαν 8 RCTs, 3
προοπτικές μελέτες και 1 συγχρονική μελέτη.
• Ο κίνδυνος μεροληψίας κυμαινόταν από χαμηλό σε υψηλό.
• Υπήρξε σημαντική συμφωνία μεταξύ των μελετών ότι η άμεση
συγκόλληση δε διέφερε από την έμμεση συγκόλληση όσον αφορά τη
δύναμη δεσμού των πάγιων ορθοδοντικών συσκευών.
• Τα επιλεγμένα άρθρα είχαν διαφορές μεταξύ τους, όσον αφορά τον
σχεδιασμό της μελέτης, το μέγεθος του δείγματος και τα υλικά και
τις μεθόδους που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν.
• Μόνοι οι μελέτες των Zachrisson12 και συν. (1978) και Czolgosz1 και
συν. (2020) βρήκαν διαφορά στην αστοχία δεσμού μεταξύ της
άμεσης και έμμεσης τεχνικής συγκόλλησης.
