The videos objective was to show White Americans how minorities are treated and how
they are judged. I did not think that the teacher went far enough. I am sure the White Americans
learned from this but deep down inside I feel like they may just brush it off with years to come.
The “rudeness” that was don’t to them was honestly nothing compared to how other African
Americans are treated on a day to day basis. I am glad that the experiment happened though
because it gives them a glimpse of the discrimination that we have to go through all the time just
for being a minority. I was very angry when one of the students walked out. I did not think it was
fair because I do not choose when I want to be African American. I am not able to run away from
judgment and stereotypes and I thought it was very selfish of her to not apologize. Overall the
video was pretty good because it helped changed the perspectives of the more a privileged race.
