3. Registered under Section 8 of Companies Act on 29th March, 2005 with approval of WBIDC
and WBPCB.
Project being implemented with partial grant for infrastructural development from Govt.
of India under the Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme (IIUS), Department of
Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, GoI.
State Govt has also contributed by way of setting up of STP and upgradation of local
sewarage and drainage system
Phase-I of around 600 acres with 150 foundries and allied units to be accommodated. Total
area of the project envisaged is 924 acres

Plot Status
9. Source of Power :
220 KV sub-station set-up within the Park. FCDA provided
approximately 15 acres of Land to WBSETCL/WBSEDCL for
setting up the sub-station. The sub-station supplies
uninterrupted quality power to meet the entire requirement
Foundry Park.
There is provision of 3 Nos 33 KV substation out of which one is
operational and another one is under construction.
10. Status of approvals of Foundry Park under SAIP
‘Final Approval’ in favour of Foundry Park was accorded on 20.04.2022.
Now he has requested for for the release of ‘1st installment of Incentives’
of the said Industrial Park.
11. Checklist according to parameter for 1st Incentive payment

Mutation has already been done for total lands but conversion is
yet to be done. It also attracts the memo no. 796-GE(M)/3M-
68/11; dated 25.02.2021.

SPV already formed and obtained final approval of the AIP from
the SLEC on 20.04.2022.
This Park has been visited on 14th July, 2022 by the PMU Team of WBSIDCL in presence of Mr. Mukul
Maity, Site Engineer, Foundry Cluster Development Association along with his team and after
inspection & checking of the project it has been found that all basic and essential infrastructures
have been completed as per SAIP 2020 Guideline but, the SPV has developed the Park with the
assistance of Government funds.
Accordingly WBSIDCL has not recommended for release of ‘incentive’ in favour of Foundry
Park. SPV has also applied for reimbursement of stamp duty and registration fees and the
reimbursement of said fees has been recommended.

3 Completion of
construction of Boundary
Wall, Land filling and
Internal Roads
Land filling Work is almost completed (95%).
The total length of Boundary Wall executed at site is 3400m (approx). So the
Construction of Boundary Wall is almost completed.
Internal Road Work has been completed and the total length of about 7760m. As
informed by FCDA, total thickness of the internal road is 580mm consisting of
230mm GSB, 250mm WMM, 60mm DBM & 40mm BC. Two (02) nos Culvert have been
constructed.
Drainage System is done comprises with RCC Wall and the total length of about
7760m. Many portions of drain are choked & damaged. Irrigation Deptt has
initiated the work of improvement of drainage congestion. Copy of all documents
relating to KMDA work is attached.
Regarding Electric Connection, FCDA informed WBSEDCL will set up a 220KVA
substations from which power will be drawn for the project by two 33KVA
substations. Twenty Four (24) nos Street Light have been installed along the road.
Setting up of 0.80MLD CETP is under going on at the end of KMDA.

RECOMMENDATIONS BY WBSIDCL
Since the SPV has developed the Park with the assistance of Government funds, hence WBSIDCL
has not been recommended for release of ‘incentive’ in favour of Foundry Park as per section
8(F)* of SAIP 2020.
SPV has also applied for reimbursement of stamp duty and registration fees and the
reimbursement of said fees has been recommended by WBSIDCL as per guideline of SAIP 2020.
*As per section 8(F) of SAIP 2020 it is stated that the SPV availing of incentives under the Scheme shall be
eligible to avail incentives under any other scheme of the State Government / Government of India
except for the same item and excluding the cluster infrastructure development assistance as available in
MSME Policy of the State Government. Individual Units coming up in the AIP shall be eligible to avail
incentives under various schemes of the State Government/Central Government as per their eligibility.
