o Finalize plans with current and new building managers
o Order keys, parking spaces, access, and other
6 Months Before Move o Complete the walkthrough with your movers of existing and new space

o Identify an interior designer (if interested in using) o Mark locations of new space on a diagram with destinations
o Plan the design of phone and data (computer) systems
o Research moving companies and begin getting estimates One Week Prior to Move

3 Months Prior to Move o Label furniture and loose items not boxed with destination space
o Meet with the move planning team o Visit new office and confirm all plans OK

o Apply for necessary infrasturcture permits o Mark equipment is to be left behind or recycled

2 Months Prior to Move Day Before Move
o Schedule utilities to begin and end at old space o Finish organizing, packing and labeling
o Create new stationery,business cards, and other printed documents o Transfer and re-install all phone and computer equipment
o Schedule service for copiers and other equipment o Arrange for back up service for phones and data during move
o Select your moving company o Update online communication sources with new contact information
o Make any necessary new purchases of furniture and equipment o Review new layout plans with employees & provide guidance on move
o Determine which equipment is not going to be moved to new location o Mark all equipment to be left behind and proper disposal
o Confirm everything is properly marked for the move with destination
1 Month Prior to Move
o Contact all suppliers and vendors to notify about move date and location Moving Day
o Contact customers to notify about new location and affective date o Your movers and your move planners should be the only people present
o Arranage for move of copier & other office equipment o Confirm installation of phones and computers and test back up services
o Get status report from all move team members o Test voice, data, audio, video and security equipment at new location
o Make list of online communication sources - upated contact information o Deliver all items to the marked location
