Project : Cummins ReportsMigration
Cummins is the US client for Rolta and emerged reports migration from BO 3.1 to OBIEE 12C. Rolta has a tool
named Smart Migrate (SMT) which migrates the reports from BO to OBIEE. The POC was done and Rolta got
the hold on project. There are 500 reports in migration process and below were my responsibilities:
• Assessment of BO reports given by client in POC. Document preparation for complexity of reports,
scope of project, query analysis etc.
• Creating various reports including simple, medium, complex and give to product team for tool
development.
• Communicating with team members for migration problems, achieved tasks, attending meetings for
requirements etc.
• Deployment o BO 3.1 server, Oracle 12C installation on Virtual Machines.
• Creation of users in BO environment, assigning roles etc.
• Matching the migrated reports from BO to OBIEE
• Demos to the client for the finished reports.

PDO is having their Maintenance department for the oil plant in Oman which accepts work orders for various
areas. Work orders are Preventive and Corrective types under various oil locations, assets. PDO uses
Business Objects reports to review the status of work orders, compliance, cumulative overdue, Planning of work
orders etc. The reports are used by management as well with rolling months data.
• Designing dashboards for maintenance with Business Objects 4.1.
• Analyzing data in Bex queries in SAP BW database.
• Data matching with existing TRMIE Dashboards to newly developed Business Objects Database.
• Coordinating with Testing team for Quality testing and Unit testing.
• CMC management for report migration from Development to Quality Environment.

Project: Migration of Reports from Micro strategy to Business Objects
This project is the migration project from Micro strategy to Business Objects.
Following are the work areas:
• Extracting the query from Micro strategy report and finding the joins in the query.
• According to the joins in MS, adding or creating joins, contexts, objects in BO Universe.
• With Universe changes, creation of reports in BO environment.
• Data matching with MS reports to Business Objects using automated tool in .net.

Project : Knowledge Engineering(KE)
Equifax is the credit agency which operates in Canada as well as USA which provides a credit scoring system
for each factor that helps predict who is most likely to repay a debt. The reports which are given to the Equifax
customers helps to provide information about the credit history of the consumers for past few years. The reports
are viewed by the Equifax customers to extract consumer data.
Roles and Activities:
HIT NO HIT Customer Reports:
• Monthly UNIX script run for generating HNH Customer Reports
• Scheduling the BO Reports through CMC.
• Enhancement in Reports as Adding the scores for customer, Adding the quarter data to specific
customer changing the filter criteria.
Environment : SAP BO 4.0, SQL SERVER, Unix, SVN Tortoise, TOAD
KE Reports :
• Run monthly load on Unix Servers and keep watch on log of the load activities.
• Once monthly load is complete spin the cubes quarterly i.e. ACD quarter, EIB Quarter and Bank
Quarter.
• Copy the cubes .mdc files to QA environment from Windows Remote Server.
• On QA approval move the .mdc files to PROD environment from Windows Remote Server.
• Enhancement in Monthly load process and Cubes generation.
• Setting the development environment on UNIX Server.
• Creating Users, Deleting Users, Changes in Authorization to view the cubes with Access Manager -
Administration.

Project : Clinical Trial Management System(CTMS)
Roche is in human science domain using Clinical Trial Management System. CTMS is used for entering data of
studies, countries, sites, patients etc. The reports are getting viewed by various levels of users with the help of
Business Objects.
Roles and Activities:
• Studying the existing reports and work for the required enhancement for JIRA tickets raised.
• Modifying universes as per report requirement
• New reports creation and enhancement in existing reports.
• Interaction with the users for the reports.

British Petroleum is the leader in ERU sector, every day the business users looks at the reports based on

Project : Credit Risk(CDR)
Roles and Activities:
This is Energy Trading Credit Risk Business Intelligence Application for BP for UK users. This application is
used for viewing Reports, developed in Business Objects for various exposures, Credit Risk. The data is getting
uploaded in database in various stages and comes in final database. Informatica Jobs are used for data upload.
Job responsibilities:
• Created Web-I reports in Business Objects XI 3.1.
• Interacted with business users to understand the presentation layer.
• Maintenance of the existing universes.
• Assist in performing data analysis to develop information and design solutions
• Solve the issues raised in the JIRA portal after development of the respective module.
• Folder structure/Reports management in Infoview.
• User creation/Management in CMC
• Managing access authorizations for users in CMC
• Promotion of jobs from Dev to Test using LCM

Project : Credit Data Mart(CDM)
Roles and Activities:
CDM is a critical exposure tool operated by the Credit Team and NAGP functional groups to determine risks and
credit limits with trading Counterparties.
This application is used as a business intelligence tool by BP to view various Credit Reports. Data is getting
collected by various sources and CDM is the final database which is used for various reports.
• Working on Change Requests by users.
• Changes in Universe using designer.
• Customization of reports as per business requirement.
• Analyzing issues coming in reports using BO Designer.
• Monitoring stored procedures which are used for Calc Engine.

Project : Migration from ET Credit to OCP(One Credit Portal)
ET Credit(Energy Trading) is a client/server application used for maintaining BP Energy Trading Customers data
i.e. counterparties, Relationship Maintenance with the counterparties, allocation of Credit to the counterparties
as per S&P and Moody’s rating etc. The application is developed in PB 11.5 and Sybase 12.5 and now getting
migrated to .NET using Silverlight 4.0 and Oracle 11 g.
Roles and Activities:
• Analyzing existing power builder application functionality by reviewing the client side PowerBuilder code,
server side Sybase code (store procedure/triggers) and database architecture.
• Involved in making the Technical document for OCP with the basis of existing application
• Explaining functionality to other developers.
• Creation of database queries, creating Sequences, Triggers for OCP in Oracle
• Datamodelling for the tables used in screens.
• Testing the code as per functionality in existing application and replicating the OCP code in Silverlight.

data is viewed with the help of various business reports.

Material Management System :
Cielmac Ltd has their in-house software development. The material management system includes stores
inventory system, finished good inventory and bill of material for production planning.
Inventory system includes material issue, receipt, managing the stock levels, balance, allocation of material for
sales orders, warning email notification and alerts.

2. Sales & Dispatch System :
The Sales and dispatch system manages the sales orders, invoice, sales reports. Functional requirement of the
system includes
1. Sales Order screen validating sales order, updating production plan by generating BOM for the sales
order and generating email to customer and sales manager for the acknowledgement.
2. Invoice generation based on one or more sales orders and the dispatch note, excise rules and freight
details. Providing user-friendly screens. Displaying sales order details and customer details at the time
invoice generation
3. Various sales reports and sales invoice reports.
