Description: DLP eSTAR provides better tracking of loan order management to improve
productivity and efficiency. Warehousing of all the products available for Loan using DLP
application. It's rewriting of eQUIP application which provides stocking and management
of solutions and equipments for customer demonstrations in order to increase Cisco’s win
rate, shorten the sales cycle and reduce overall demo equipment expense.

comparing them with that of the Cisco internal data and generates the reports for the
business team. Earlier the data was maintained in the excel sheets manually which used
to lead to the inaccuracy of data. Now the process is automated & the accurate reports
are generated.
The data is extracted, transformed, and loaded using the Informatica 8.1.1 &
Informatica 7.1.4 ETL tool and the reports are generated using the BO XI reporting tool.
The data is cleansed, scrubbed, fine-tuned in the staging area using the oracle 9i
database
Responsibilities:

Here we are migrating server from San Jose to Richard Son. Entire database/schemas
changes need to be taken care and make sure $U jobs are created in the new
environment and able to retrieve the reports successfully.

Headquartered in San Jose, California. It designs and sells networking and
communications technology and services under five brands, namely Cisco, Linksys,
WebEx, IronPort, and Scientific Atlanta. Initially, Cisco manufactured only enterprise
multi-protocol routers but gradually diversified its product offering to move into the
home user market with the purchase of Linksys while also expanding its offering for
corporate customers.
As part of Business strategy Cisco took an advantage of Providing Loans for the
Customers to buy their own products. The overall business flow from giving loans and
getting repayments from the customers is the Process called LOANIQ. This LOANIQ

reporting Application processes all the General Ledger Information and Loads into the
Data Mart as per Business Requirements which is used for Reporting.
Cisco Capital IT intends to make Loan IQ Reporting Implementation project from the
existing legacy system to an automated ETL system which will meet business team
needs a scalable and reliable process and minimizes the risk of data inaccuracy. The
Main objective is to avoid interaction between multiple teams, and make the data
availability across theatres for the Accounting, Finance, and Loan Operating Teams.
Responsibilities:

Reinstatement Process, Automation of Generating Parameter files, SDS Process.

Description: Express OS (XOS) is a new credit origination system that is going to
replace Decision Desktop which is current source of information for customer and credit
transaction data.
Capital Data mart reports are accessed by end users through a Business Objects (BO)
interface. The framework that must be established between Express OS and Data mart
for reports must enable data extract from ExpressOS, process it, and load it into Data
mart so that current reporting is preserved for end users. The existing ETL process must
be examined to determine the changes needed to existing maps, rules, and processes
that will require substitution of Decision Desktop (DD) data elements with their
equivalent ExpressOS counterparts.

Description: This project deals with the automation of reporting process.Earlier the
reports are generated using the data gathering from various sources and stored in
the Excel sheets. There is more chance that the reports can be inaccurate and may
lead to incorrect decisions. This data mart (EFRA) is build to help the senior/middle
level management teams to take proper & correct decisions in time regarding the
business.
Data is extracted from various theaters (US, EMEA, APAC) and transformed
according to the business logic and loaded into the Data Mart. The source data marts
compromising of contract data for the Bookings and activations. The source data is
stored in Oracle 9i database and the EFRA data mart is build on oracle 9i. Total 2
subject areas are there Activations and Bookings.

The data is extracted, transformed and loaded using the Informatica 8.1.0 &
Informatica 7.1.4 ETL tool and the reports are generated using the BO XI reporting
