possessastrong backgroundinleadershipandagencydevelopmentthatincludesover10 yearsworking
withvariousprogramswithinthe agency,developingstaff atall levelstoinclude communityvolunteers
and assistingthe lowincome residentsof Comanche County.
Much of my workexperience hasbeeninaccounting andfinance,humanresources,planningand
developmentasitpertainsto a non-profitagency,grantwritingandcollaborationswithother external
agenciestocoordinate resources andservices tobenefitthe clientsthatcome tothe agencyseeking
assistance. Ihave extensive knowledge of the dailyoperationsof anon-profitorganizationtoinclude
board recruitment,compositionandfiduciaryduties,developmentof policies andproceduresforthe
agency, humanresource activities(onboarding, benefits,worker’scompensationclaims,FMLA,
interviewing,andevaluationof employees) developmentandtrainingactivitiesforstaff,and
spearheadingthe VITA (VolunteerIncome Tax Assistance) programforover10 years.
I am responsibleforkeepingthe agency andthe boardof directors informedof local,state andregional
activitiesonacontinual basisviawrittenorelectronicformatsthat are directlyrelatedto carryingout
the mission,goalsandobjectivesof CommunityAction. Iassistannuallywithwritingvariousfederal,
