               genres of music that I would like to
               base my music magazine on. So far I

Genres         feel that a pop magazine would
               best suit me as I listen to that genre
               of music and know more about it.

Here I have given examples of
                                     different examples of the
Target Audience                      different age groups that I
                                     could use for my magazine. As
                                     I am doing a pop magazine I
                                     have decided to go for a
 Age:                               younger audience as they will
                                     be easier to appeal to.
5-8      young children

8-11     young children in primary school

12-15    pre teens

16-18    teens into young adults

18-25    young adults into adults

25-30    Adults to mature adults

30+      Parenthood
Language
 Due to the fact that my audience is of a young age I
  have decided to use informal language because if I use
  formal language then my target audience will be less
  likely to read the magazine and less likely to buy it.
