Let's Make Tomorrow Happen.
As an accomplished Enterprise Agile Transformation Consultant, I offer 20 years of experience providing strategic leadership and operational support for all phases of the Enterprise & Technology Lifecycles. I embrace leading globally diverse, distributed, and cross-functional teams, viewing it not as a challenge but an opportunity to expand thought. Obtaining my Executive MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute, Strayer University online was deliberate; Jack Welch's commitment to established Cooperate Values and Transparency strikes at my core.
As a Leader, I work best at curating a vision with values for the team/platform/organization. As people, it is our values that we pivot to when making decisions in life and at work. Having Cooperate/Team/Individual Values defined, decision-making becomes authentic and credible, not to mention much easier for leadership. Another way to view it is Velocity + Direction = Value.

Enterprise Transformation Leader
Let's Make Tomorrow Happen.
As an accomplished Enterprise Agile Transformation Consultant, I offer 20 years of experience providing strategic leadership and operational
support for all phases of the Enterprise & Technology Lifecycles. I embrace leading globally diverse, distributed, and cross-functional teams,
viewing it not as a challenge but an opportunity to expand thought. Obtaining my Executive MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute,
Strayer University online was deliberate; Jack Welch's commitment to established Cooperate Values and Transparency strikes at my core.
As a Leader, I work best at curating a vision with values for the team/platform/organization. As people, it is ourvalues that we pivot to
when making decisions in life and at work. Having Cooperate/Team/Individual Values defined, decision-making becomes authentic and
credible, not to mention much easier for leadership. Another way to view it is Velocity + Direction = Value.
I thrive on leading the formation of a foundation of transparent change. Where to change means more than reacting to disruptive influences;
it means recognizing and seizing opportunities that either the market or the business performance has created. Committed to the Team,
Company, and Product{s) success in becoming and remaining a disruptive force in the industry by encouraging all to own their part of the
destiny, capturing moments of innovative momentum before the moment becomes another missed-opportunity cost on the P&L.
My peers consider me a Leader and Driver of Change Initiatives whose passion is finding scalable, repeatable, and sustainable ways to grow
the business. Advancements continue to change how we develop and deliver software. You can own the vision where continuous market
awareness, change, and improvements are not unthinkable; this is where incremental change is at its most elegant.
Highlights from my career tenure before ALSAC include the following:
Growing Hayes Software System's Customer Support department from the ground up as their VP has given me key insights into users'
perspectives. From running a call center to training trainers to be consistent in delivery. Hays Software System garnished an
impeccable support reputation throughout Texas and then throughout the US.
Commerce Bank (NASDAQ CBSH). Establishing the Bank's first DevOps team based on Lean & ITIL methodologies for Continuous
Workflow. Defined New Cost Metrics, Implementing Lean MVP in support of the Transform 360 Initiative. Positioning and finalizing
CBSH 2018 rollout of Temenos core banking platform across the enterprise.
As Principal Agile Portfolio Release Manager for Lexmark HealthcareTM, my primary responsibility was to my Value Stream's Portfolio and
ensured the health and visibility of the Healthcare Roadmap (methodology FDD). On-boarded four acquired healthcare companies
valued at $140M, including developing go-to-market strategies for 36 products, solutions, and programs. Mentored new product
manager, launching two new-to-market IOS products. I orchestrated a total of six end-to-end healthcare product launches, delivering
$62M in global license revenue in 2015, beating the goal of $59M.
Led a tiger team on a cross-functional initiative to consolidate patient data to a single platform while maintaining HL7 compliance. The ECM /
VNA Convergence initiative's success resulted in an additional $4.9M in ECM for back-office purchases by the country's most extensive
health system, "CHS" at the time.
As Senior Product Director at a 4-person start-up, I managed the development of the two flagship products, taking both to the cloud with the
company's hosted offering, allowing the first piloting of a Lean MVP solution for online educational materials. After the Zen of Palm was
over, established first IOS and Android MVPs. Contracting Scio Consulting for the continuation of the mobile development with Product
Management still in-house.
Propelled annual new license revenues from $192K to $1.2M over 12 years in a challenging secondary education market. Leveraging
renewed collaboration with customers and delivering a new SaaS offering, along with B2B2C SIFA integration.
My DiSC® Style is Di, with a priority curve toward Challenge. I am candid, self-confident, and persuasive enough to gain the buy-in of others
to work toward goals.
It would be my pleasure to discuss my background, strategic change priorities, and executive decision-making while ensuring a successful
journey. Let's Make Tomorrow Happen.
Sincerely,
Shawn Carlson
