SUIGA Varihard TC Cord is a high performance anti-wear product in the form of a flexible cord, comprising a nickel
cored wire, covered with an elastic binder containing a mixture of tungsten carbides and nickel alloy powder. These are
suitable for flame brazing & TIG Welding. The deposits offer an extremely dense mass of ultrahard carbides (80% by
weight) in a tough, durable coating with low sensitivity to cracking due to a nickel enhanced matrix. The deposit
structure of VariHard Flexible TC Cord offers superior anti-abrasion properties against a wide variety of abradants.

The HVOF powders whose particle size is below 30um all can be used for HVAF.
Industry application of HVAF powder is similar with HVOF powder's, such as high
pressure valves in Oil & Gas, Paper manufacturing machinery, threaded rod,
hydraulic plunger etc.
The real advantages of the modern HVAF systems over modern HVOF systems include only the following:
1. High productivity
2. Good energy efficiency
3. Often no water cooling necessary
The principal disadvantages of HVAF are:
1. Bad DE (deposition efficiency)
2. Very large air consumption
3. Very low flexibility of use (practically for each type of powder and powder consumption
another burner is necessary)
