Overseas (Export House) at New Delhi, India. (April 2002 – December 2005)
Job responsibilities :
Cargo booking with shipping lines, CHA’s.
Negotiate with Freight Forwarders
Submission of ASN (Advance Shipment Notification)
Preparation of Pre shipping documents – Imports & Exports
Self correspondence with customs, CHA’s, Shipping lines, Buying Houses & Banks.
Booking management; on the basis Client’s special requirements and send Pre Advise to
consignee. Solve booking discrepancies.
Cargo Planning; this includes the planning of cargo using decision tree and ART (Auto
Release Tool) to European operations (FCL) and Asia Pacific regions (LCL & FCL).
Container Load Plan (CLP) follow-up; this covers ESI submission, and corrected BL
preparation. Also responsible for vessel manifestation.
Ensure consignee that vendors complying the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) completely and apply penalty. Monitor at
various stage when the cargo is Ex. factory till the time of receiving at facility. Make contingent plan to load cargo to earliest next
vessel.
5. Worked as an Export Documentation Executive With M/S Sainik Enterprises (Export
House) In India. (1997 Jan – March 2002)
Job responsibilities :
Maintaining a liaison with Shipping Lines & all other service vendors
ensuring all shipment related information are sent to customers/ overseas office in time as
required.
Standardizing Costs, rate negotiations with Shipping lines and other service vendors and
updating the rate sheet for the branch.
Independently Looking after all Import Clearing from Sea port and Airport and solving the
problems related to Import Clearance.
Dealing with Government Authorities to Register the New Items bar code, FIRS DM Bar Code and relevant issues.
Looking after all the arrangements of Export, like arrangements of Transport, Dealing with shipping companies for Export Booking
and Vessel schedule and arrangements etc.
3. Ensure the Order from customer are coordinated with carriers and airlines
Ensure arrangement for pick-up / Delivery of cargo/ container on behalf of the client/agent as required.
