American Museum of Natural History (New York, NY) August 1999 – December 2016
Major Projects
• Assisted in organization’s conversion from IMAP mail service to Exchange 2010 with calendaring support and webmail.
• Tested locations, collected data, and mapped access point sites for implementation of the Museum’s Webby Award-nominated
wireless way-finding iPhone App, AMNH Explorer.
• Supported configuration of RSA Secure ID server and connection of two factor authentication with LDAP and Cisco ACS.
• Facilitated the build and population of two onsite 80 kVA data centers housing 40 APC racks and two disaster recovery sites with
two full APC racks each.
• Migrated a full IPAM Proteus solution in preparation for DNSSEC and IPV6 transition.
• Researched, tested and deployed Timbuktu remote desktop support project.
• Creation of E-mail, FTP, VPN, wireless, and contractor accounts for over 2,000 employees, volunteers, and visiting professionals.
• Led enterprise build and deployment of Symantec Antivirus and subsequently Sophos Antivirus systems.
Senior Network Lead 2005 – 2016
• Supervise and mentor Network Systems Dept. volunteer and multiple interns.
• Symantec Ghost imaging and restoring of Windows XP Pro and Windows 7 Pro on Dell and IBM desktops and laptops.

Network Analyst 2002 – 2005
• Responsible for Cisco switch configuration, updates, maintenance, and expansion covering 2900/3500/3600/3700/5500/6500
series switches and 1100/1200 series wireless access points with WCS and ACS management servers.
• Manage all Cisco network equipment and supply needs, including: cabling, fiber, tools, and storage.
• Maintain and continually upgrade BlueCat Adonis Management servers for DNS and dynamic DHCP.
• Provide secondary support of internal applications servers running Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008.
• Consult and support in-house network connectivity and computer needs for the Events & Conference Services Dept.
• Author and advise on documentation and policies pertaining to the network and specific relevant applications.
Systems Analyst 1999 – 2002
• Provide first response during weekend (rotation), events, and holidays as part of 24-hour network support.
• Conduct research, recommend and provide guidance for new hardware and software product and vendor collaboration.
• Coordinate supplies, testing equipment, computers, orders and multiple storage areas for the Network Systems Dept.
• Support onsite and residential office needs for executive staff and board members, covering: Windows OS, Mac OS, MS Office,
Cisco VPN, Meeting Maker, network shared drives, home networking, various third party software, and hardware.
