Primary Product (Main Product) is the product with which a free product is being offered.

by the seller.
If the freebie
listing doesn’t
exist, first
create a listing,
and then,
enable the

Group
Product Group refers to the group of listings on which a seller is running a promotion.
Product Group
can be defined
as a
combination of
Vertical, Brand,
or Price, or a
specific set of
listings.

Select My Promotions under
the Promotions tab.

Click here if you are
creating a freebie offer
for the first time.

Flipkart.

41. Edit a Freebie Offer: Keep in Mind (1 of 2)
Note: While editing, you cannot switch between a Create Product Group to Upload List of Products mode to create
an offer.
Once an offer is saved, you can:
• Only edit brand/vertical/price preferences
• For example, if a free offer was created for both
Samsung and Nokia brands, you can remove one of
these brands from the offer, or add another brand
to the existing offer.
• Edit the listings on the CSV file
• If a promotion was created by uploading the listing
products option, you can edit the listings by
downloading the CSV file and re-upload the
updated one.

42. Edit a Freebie Offer: Keep in Mind (2 of 2)
Once an offer is live:
• The start date of the promotion cannot be
edited.
• A freebie product cannot be edited.
Note: To change a freebie product, disable
the existing offer, and create a new offer.

A freebie offer at Flipkart will
appear like this.
Note: Actions like Return to Dispatch and Cancellation can only be done on the Primary Products, which
automatically applies to the Freebie Product as well.

46. Printing Invoice and Shipping Label
Enter the following details about the
Freebie product while confirming the
order:
• Invoice#
• Serial/IMEI#
• VAT
• Invoice Date

47. Invoice Format
• The invoice will contain the billing
details for both the primary and
the freebie product.
• The Promotional Discount section
will have a negative entry,
indicating the worth of freebie +
shipping charges (for the freebie
product)

48. Shipping Label Format
This will include the product
titles for both primary and
freebie products
It will also contain the Order
Item ID for both the primary
and freebie products
Note: Pack both the primary and freebie products together in one
shipment.
