Abstract
Wind energy associated in the form of
velocity in the trains and due to the
displacement of mechanical devices that in
turns drives an electrical generator of highest
rating it produces electrical energy. After the
conversions of energy, the maximum power is
obtaining across the arrangements.
Keyword: Renewable energy, trains,
Pelamis power, redesigned Pelamis dragons.
Introduction
Today in INDIA the power
production is almost increases vastly from the
day of our independence, with the statistics of
power generation. Due to increase in power
consumption, the rate of power save for future
is begins extinction and reaches a power
demand in this situation, especially in
Tamilnadu .This paper deal about the methods
of utilizing the renewable resources from our
daily lives to rectify this power requirement
and it should be in the way of not polluting
our globe, which means it should equalizes
the polluting Energy resource like coal
emitting carbons and other toxic gases into
the atmosphere.
Project focusing
”THE WAVE ENERGY CONTRIBUTES
HEAVILY FOR THE ATTENUATION OF
POLLUTANT GASES IN THE ATMOSPHERE
“.
Field of Innovation
The static wind energy formation systems
like wind mills, we most often depended only
by that and it’s not available in all the mean
times and places hence in this paper the other
form of wind energy which is obtained from
the fast moving vehicles that leads to generate
electricity.
Designing of this Innovation
The designing of this innovation is that the
Pelamis wave dragon which is modeled in
such a way that it’s laid over the trains and
corresponding to the oscillation of trains
along the speed of train our Pelamis dragon
generates electricity with the help of generator
associated with the Pelamis wave dragon and
it’s being transmitted along with the smart
grids or it can be stored for the usage to
provide a feedback system in ELECTRIC
TRAINS on metro cities.
Description of innovation
It’s not that the train has to be in motion all
the time because Pelamis dragon designed and
arranged in such a way that it has moment of
inertia to generate even a small amount of
energy even when train is at rest.
Wind energy formation
The combination of forces due to the
gravity, trains motion and wind intensity are
the main factors for the formation of the wind
energy.
The train whose motion will never been in a
sustained manner but other than that it has
up’s and downs , wind energy. It’s just similar
to the sea wave formation and their detailed
description is shown below.
The distance between two consecutive crests
or two consecutive troughs defines the
wavelength (λ).wave height is proportional
to the wind intensity and its duration. The
wave period (T) is the time in seconds needed
for the wave travels the wavelength (λ) and its
proportional to the speed of the train. Let’s
have the cross sectional look with parameters
marked shows.
Consequently the speed of the waves and
its velocity (v) = λ/T. Here we have larger
velocity with respect to time and its
wavelength increases with its direct
proportionality.
Wavelength (λ) α velocity (v) of the waves
Wavelength (λ) α Time (T) of the complete
crust and trough in waves
And the Energy (E) averaged obtained for a
certain time interval of time is,
E=(1/16)ρgH2
mo (Joules)
In above equations the parameters
Where,
E- Energy averaged over a time interval,
ρ- Water Specific weight,
ᵍ - Gravitational constant,
H- Significant wave height.
Since we consider this as waves hence we
take the parameters in terms of Waves (air
associated with velocity)…
E- Energy averaged over a time interval,
ρ- Specific weight of air,
ᵍ - Gravitational constant,
H- Significant wave height.
Power associated with waves
Wave power refers to the energy of
pressure offered by the train and it can be
converted for some useful works (i.e.,)
production of energy. Trains and its velocities
are unstoppable where ever around the world
and it assures to be the promising next
generation renewable power sources since
they are capable of manifesting enormous
amount of energy resources in our day today
life.
The wave power associated along different
countries has shown in two different graphs
from that the power strategy along the
sea shores in Indian oceans were its
between (10-15) kW/m. Even for this small
speed we make an energy about 52.95KW,
where the average speed of the Indian trains
were depicted as
60-90 km/hr hence from this statistics it have
been surely say that there will be large energy
generation
The analysis whose power equation can be
derived as
P= (1/2)ρgH2
λb (W/m)
Where,
P - Power associated with regular waves
ρ - Specific weight of air,
- Gravitational constant,
H - Significant wave height.
λ – Wavelength of the waves
b - Wave front of the wave
Here in this paper on substituting the known
data onto the
Power equations association with waves
shown above, the derivations can be derived
as,
P= (1/2)ρgH2
λb
Consider the power obtained is considered for
the unit wave front of the waves,
Pu=(p/b)
= (1/2) ρgH2
λb-- (1)
We know that
Velocity (v) = λ/T
λ = (v)*(T) -- (2).
On substituting the Wavelength (2) in power
(1) we get,
P=(1/2)ρgH2
(vT)--(3)
Hence it’s been proved from the above
equation (3) that
Power (P) α time of the wave occurrence in
Pelamis (T)
Power (P) α velocity of the train (v).
All we discussed above were suits for Regular
waves with their wave front and on we
considered for irregular waves per unit wave
front, we have power equations as.
Pi
~
= 0.42 H2
T(KW)
Advantages
There are several thousand trains
operating daily on several hundreds of
kilometers in India, so theoretically we states
that there is a chance of obtaining a maximum
of 2.250MW in each train. Hence for several
thousand trains we can surely say that our
energy crisis will sole and provide a foot for
energy conservation to make our world to be
green ever.
Conclusion
This paper can be concluded by
saying that power increases abruptly by
increase in train speed and time of the waves.
The cute Quotes that we used to share “God
gives us and provides with what we
actually want and it the only matter of
execution and find out the key for the
solution”.
