Blodgett Middle School
Syracuse STEM @ Blodgett is a
dynamic middle school that is
part of Syracuse City School
District in Syracuse, NY. Their
school features rigorous STEM
programming, inquiry-based
teaching methods and
leadership development
programs that all prepare any
graduating 8th grader to enter
any high school or CTE
program and begin studies as
a freshman.

4. Business Case Challenge
Through SuitUp, volunteers from Steelcase and students from Syracuse STEM @ Blodgett
and Henry Clay School participated in a SuitUp business competition in which they created
a new and innovative learning space that promotes a positive and healthy wellbeing. The
space could include furniture, interior décor and specific activities. Volunteers coached
students in various departments before helping them pitch to judges for a cash prize.
