About Appfire
Appfire launched in 2005 as
one of the original partners
in the Atlassian software
ecosystem. From the start,
their focus has always been
to help teams customize
their tools so they can do
better work together. 17
years later and their mission
is still the same: support
their founders and teams
with a powerful platform to
build incredible solutions —
fueled by innovation and
customer feedback.

Business Case Challenge
Through SuitUp, volunteers from Appfire and students from Boston Latin Academy
participated in a SuitUp business competition in which they were tasked with creating a
new app that solves a problem currently faced by teens. Volunteers coached students in
various departments before helping them pitch to judges for a cash prize.

“I really liked planning things out with my group, talking things out and
coming to a mutual consensus on a topic. I loved my mentor and
other teachers and hosts as well. They were so kind and helpful for
us, it made the experience so much more fun. - SuitUp Student
I really enjoyed seeing the students come alive and work together as
a team! - Appfire Coach
I loved every single part. It was all very engaging, interesting, and I
learned new skills that were nerve-wracking at first, but so worth it! -
SuitUp Student

new options. Keep your mind open. - Appfire Judge
