Business Case Challenge
Through SuitUp, volunteers from Designtex and students from MS 363 participated in a
SuitUp business competition in which they were tasked with creating a new product or
service that increases engagement and reminds customers to use Designtex Digital
Studio for interior design projects without ever having to leave home. Volunteers coached
students in various departments before helping them pitch to judges for a cash prize.

SuitUp asked students if Designtex’s SuitUp competition made an
impact on their future career choice. 94% of students said that
engaging with the volunteers influenced their career choice and
now they can see themselves using skills such as communication,
teamwork and public speaking.

About MS 363 (The Academy for Personal Leadership & Excellence) MS 363 is committed to developing socially conscious leaders of the future, in a safe learning environment where students can take risks, achieve academic success, and demonstrate social responsibility. Students are engaged in a rigorous, standards-based curriculum with a community service component that empowers students to develop their role in society.

  • 4. 4 Business Case Challenge Through SuitUp, volunteers from Designtex and students from MS 363 participated in a SuitUp business competition in which they were tasked with creating a new product or service that increases engagement and reminds customers to use Designtex Digital Studio for interior design projects without ever having to leave home. Volunteers coached students in various departments before helping them pitch to judges for a cash prize. Designtex’s Impact SuitUp asked students if Designtex’s SuitUp competition made an impact on their future career choice. 94% of students said that engaging with the volunteers influenced their career choice and now they can see themselves using skills such as communication, teamwork and public speaking.
