2. Agra
The Mughal architecture, built entirely with white marble is one of the
most well-known identifiers of India. Taj Mahal grandeur and beauty
will have you spellbound. Shah Jahan built his paragon for his wife.
Noor Jahan enunciate his love for her. Situated in one of the “Golden
Triangle” cities. We also get an opportunity to explore the streets of
Agra.
3. Delhi
One of the tallest creations in the Indian History is the Qutub Minar.
With its red sandstones and aesthetic Iranian architecture. The minaret
is the most famous tourist attraction of India. This UNESCO site towers
at a height of 240 feet making it one of the tallest ancient towers across
the globe. Assimilate history of the minaret by reading the inscriptions.

4. Rajasthan
The splendid Amer Fort sits stop a hill called Cheel ka Teela. The
essence of the Amer Fort built with lustrous red Sandstone and Marble.
The gigantic fort has some mystical elements enveloped in it. Enjoy an
elephant ride towards Sun gate. A hidden tunnel in the Fort takes you
on a prolonged path bridging the perforated lace to Jaigarh Fort.
5. Maharastra
The enthralling caves of Ajanta and Ellora in Maharastra. With their
authentic rock-cut sculptures and ancient Indian art. The caves have
become a UNESCO world heritage site. The artifacts in the caves
portray the past lives. Discovered in 1819. The caves are a popular
tourist spots.
6. Kolkata
Kolkata is the famous historical places in India. Victoria Memorial has
been named after “Queen Victoria”. The elegant white Marble
Structure is girdled by lush green gardens which together cover 64
acres of land. The memorial is illuminated by light in the evening.
7. Jaipur
Hawa Mahal is built in red and pink sandstone. It is more of a gallery. It
is can be reached via bus, auto, taxi or cars from the capital city. It is
situated in Jaipur. The months of September to February are the best
time to visit Hawa Mahal at Jaipur.
8. Hampi
Hampi, the city of ruins, is a UNESCO world Heritage Site. The
virupaksha temple is the most astonishing marvel was discovered. The
sculptures od lord Shiva carved on stones. Enjoy the annual festivals of
virupaksha, pampa, and chariot in Hampi.
9. Bodh Gaya
One of the most important pilgrimage sites for Buddists, Bodh Gaya is a
village in the state of Bihar. Under the Bodhi tree the Gautam Buddha
attained enlightenment. The Mahabodhi tree, under which Gautam
Buddha meditated. The Mahabodhi temple built near mahabodhi tree
is an enriching experience to visit the temple.
10. Konark
Dedicated to Lord Surya, this 13th centaury at Konark is an architectural
marvel. The sun temple of Konark is a UNESCO world heritage site. The
Konark dance festival is held every year in the month of February which
attracts a lot of foreign and Indian tourists. The word ‘Konark’ comes
from the combination of two words ‘Kona’ and ‘Arka’.
11. Amritsar
A day in this peaceful city starts with the spiritual prayers from
Gurudwaras. Amritsar is the spiritual and cultural center of the Sikh
Religion. Golden Temple is situated in the city of Amritsar. Golden
temple is just a small part of biggest complex. Although the Golden
Temple itself is of great historical places in India.
12. Acknowledgment
Success is what we get as the result of hard work, proper guidance and
help. With such determination and guidance I have been able to
complete my project on time and more over in an effective and precise
way. I am grateful and greatly thankful to everyone who supported me,
specially to my teachers, Anonya Mam. She gave me moral support and
guided me in different matters regarding the project. She helped me in
learning a lot about the computer project. Next, I would thanks my
parents who provided me the essential and necessary things required
to complete this project.
