to facilitate negotiation & sourcing strategy for the same
 Designing the new & transforming existing supply chains to meet business or functional strategies through collaboration
within Country & Global Business Teams including areas such as demand forecasts / product line, sourcing, manufacturing

 Ensuring that key procurement plans are aligned with all contractual & statutory requirements, holding techno-commercial

 Managed Ancillary Development and led the set-up of 3 ancillaries for Sheet Metal/Fabricated parts, Turned & Machined
components & Rollers
 Heading the Import function right from source identification, vendor approval, Ordering, freighting ( on board and inland
), consolidating consolidation, custom clearance and financial regularization of parts, consumables, maintenance-repairs-
operations, electricals & electronics, dies & molds and capital goods.
 Conducted SAP Orientation in MM module ( wherein the project of implementation was handled as co-BPO ) from 2010 to
2012
 Headed the MRP module implementation for a part list over 50,000 specific part codes running over 300 vendor
combinations (for Looms) in 2013 – 2015
 Lead the Import substitution/alternate sourcing drive (identifying cost effective products from India & China) and
developed sources for Seamless Steel Tubes (from Europe to China), Continuous Cast Iron bars GG 20 Grade from Czech
Republic to China & then to Australia, sourcing of Bearings ( DGBB, Spherical Roller Thrust, Cylindrical Roller, Taper Roller Ball
bearings & Pillow Blocks and so on), resulting is savings of INR 4.5 crores per annum for Tape Extrusion Line, Winders & Looms
 Successfully procured special materials like Copper, Brass, Aluminum & other non-ferrous materials worldwide & Bearings,
valuing approximately INR 75 crores per annum. Devised a formulae for all commodity based procurements in the Company
 Spearheaded the sourcing of Bearings for the entire Group, locally & overseas including over 150 types of Bearings numbering
some 5 million pieces per annum
 Played a pivotal role in the consolidation & containerization of various freights located in Europe, with an aim to reduce the
freighting costs and successfully reduced it by 60%
 Standardized Production Planning Stores & Inventory module consisting of over 25,000 outsourced parts for the entire
group primarily consisting of 3 major profit centers; acted as a custodian of materials module of all IT Systems of the
Company and currently in process of building import purchasing module on the Oracle System
