2. ORIGIN & THE FIRST
ENCOUNTER WITH SCIENCE
• Albert Einstein, born on the 14th of March in 1879.,in the town Ulmu which is
located in Germany.
• In Ulmu he lived with his Jewish family,of middle class. His parents dealt with
jobs that,at that time, didn’t contibute much to their financial state. His first
encounter was with a compass at the age of 5.He was fascinated by the
invisible forces being able to reject themselves off a needle. That would lead to
a lifelong fascination on the invisible forces. The second miracle came at the
age of 12,when he discovered a geometry book, calling it his „holy book of
small geometry“.He mastered higher math ‘till the age if 16.
3. EDUCATION
The education started in Munich.With
15 years he went to Aarau (Switzerland)
and studied maths & physics at the
Higher Techical school in Zurich.
His discipline and behaviour weren’t
satisfactory,and he was absent a
lot.However,he graduated in 1900.with
the help of his coleague from who he
got all the notes.

4. CONTRIBUTIONS &
INFLUENCES
EINSTEIN WORKED IN A PATENT OFFICE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF
PATENTS FOR ELECTOMAGNETIC DEVICES NOT LONG AFTER HE
GRADUATED.
HE MADE ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS EQUATIONS EVER: E = MC²
(ENRGY = MASS MULTIPLIED WITH THE SPEED OF LIGHT PER SQUARE).
HE IS ALSO KNOWN BY HIS THEORY OF RELATIVITY.HE INCLUDES THE SPECIAL
THEORY OF RELATIVITY IN HIS WORK„ ELECTRODINAMICS OF MOVABLE BODIES“IN
1905.,BEFORE THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE GENERAL THEORY OF RELATIVITY
BETWEEN 1907-1915.
5. THEORY OF RELATIVITY
• The theory of relativity consists of 2 scientific theories in the area of physics:special
relativity & general relativity. These theories were designed to explain the fact that
electromagnetic waves don’t conform to Newton’s laws of motion.Elecrtomagnetic waves
move with constant speedn, independent of the observers movement. The basic idea is that
the two observers, who are both in relative motion (i.e. Ones movements are in relation to
the other),can measure the time and spacoal intervals for similar events, but the physical
laws will look the same to both of them equally.
6. PEAKS & THE REST OF HIS CAREER
• In 1921 he wins the Nobel prize for his work on
theoretical physics.
• He was offered to be the second president of
Israel.He declined the offer.
• He worked on other significant theories & projects
like:the deviation of light by gravity, quantum theory
of the movement of atoms in solid matter,
Browno’s movement & a lot more.
7. • In 1917.,Einstein announces "On the
Quantum Mechanics of Radiation",or
in the original,"Zur Quantentheorie
der Strahlung", Physkalische
Zeitschrift 18, 121-128).With this
article the concept of stimulated emission
is introduced,a physic principle which
enables the strengthening of light power
in a laser.Also the same year,he
announces his work in which he uses The
general theory of relativity so he can build
a model of the whole universe, that way
preparing the stage for the performance
of modern physical cosmology.
8. FAMILY
• In 1903., Albert Einstein married Mileva Marić.A
year later the couple had their first son Hans
Albert, and in 1910.their other son, Edward.
• In 1919. Einstein divorced Mileva Marić & married
his cousin Elsa Lovental(born Einstein).

9. QUOTES:
• „Imagination is more important than knowledge.Because, knowledge is
limited, while imagination compounds the whole world & encourages
progress,giving birth to evolution.“
• „Education must be such that what it offers,is taken as a priceless gift, and
not as defensive obligation.“
• „Knowledge isn’t a result of education,but a lifelong attempt to obtain it.“
• „Cognition, insight doesn’t come to me thanks to logic or math.It comes, just
like to artists, from intuition & inspiration.“
