o Receiving of gases such as Argon, CO2 and others used for welding verifies the purity
of gases delivered through CGA certificates issued by the supplier.
o Check of welding ancillaries such as welding machine, welding cables, regulators and
hoses and gauges etc. Welding machine shall be calibrated as per project standard.
Third party calibrators shall provide certificates.
o Attend inspection for pre-welding activities such as pre-heat, preparation of joints
correct bevel angel root gap and root face.
o Monitor of in-process welding inspection documents all welding parameters such as
voltage, amperage, heat input, gas flow rate, interpass temperature and method of
cleaning according to WPS .Checks oxygen level during welding for Low Alloy Steels,
