productionandpostproductionof our musicvideotoRihannaand ChrisBrown’ssong‘Ain’t

Equipment What we will use itfor
IPhone 6 – Mobile Phone Thisis phone iseasiertofilmandconvenientto
carry around as itsmallerthana camera. It isan
advantage to filmasitwasn’tblurryas the
camera whereas the flipcamerathatI used
continuedtoblurout duringscenes. IPhone6
had enoughmemorycomparedtothe flip
camera.I had to keepdeletingcertainscenesof
the camera inorder to film.
Digital Camera In the firsthalf of the musicvideo,we used
digital camerato film.Thiswasgoodas the
camera quality wasclearbutsome sceneswere
blurry.By usingdigital camera,Iwasable to get
extreme close upsof peopleasI cannotdo these
typesof shotson the phone.
Tripod In orderfor usto achieve still shots,we hadto
use a tripodto supportthe camera as I recorded
the scenesof the video.Itwas an advantage asI
neededtogeta still shotof the protagonist.
IMAC Computers We usedIMOVIEand Movie Maker to editour
musicvideoasthe software isincludedwiththe
computer.Thisisan advantage as the software
has a range of differenteffectssuchassplit
scenes,slow motiontoourmusicvideo.
