2. Understanding of the formula of The Excel Formula
A. In the forerita in the formula or formula on Microsoft Excel is The
Marhematical equation to calculate certain values with the aim of
getting expected results in Microsoft Excel. This Excel Formula (Excel
Formula) can be used in simple calculations to a super complex, either
for data in the form of numbers, text, date, time or combination of the
types of data.
a.)What to Note that how to use the Microsoft Excel Formula always begins
the same mark with (=). In addition in a Excel Formula can involve excel
function, reference, constant and generally also involves the basic
operator in Microsoft Excel.
For Example :
We will summail the number 10,20.30 the Excel Formula is =10 + 20 +
30 other then examples if we want to find an average of 10,20.30 the the
Excel Formula is =(10 + 20 + 30)/3 in both exampal levels, the
complement of the Excel used the constant (10,20,30,3) and the operator
of the summary (+) and the division (/)
3. Exampal Excel Formula that involves the reference of the cell is
as Follows!
1. =AVERAGE (To fill the “AVERAGE value” column using the
AVERAGE Formula on cell G7 =AVERAGE(C7:E7))
2. =MAX (To fill the “highest” column using the MAX Formula on the
HEL cells like this =MAX(C7:E7)
3. =MIN (To fill the “lowest” column using the MIN Formula on the
cell I7 like this =MIN(C7:E7))
4. =COUNT (The Formula to count many numbers (only numbers)
can also let us or symbols in a cell row. For example you want to
calculate how much data from the table is below.
5. =CountA (The Formula to count the amount of data (only data) on
a cell row. Almost the same as the count but the difference is in
numbers and data only.
4. =AVERAGE
Return the average value (average arithmetic) for
example, if the range of A1 : A20 contains numbers,
the formula = average (A1;A20) returns the average
value of the figure.

The max function in microsoft excel is used
to search the highest data from a range. This
max function is used to find the highest score
in class
6. =MIN
The min in microsoft excel is the opposite of
the max function, this function is used to
search the lowest data from a range.
7. =COUNT
The count function is the function provided by microsoft excel
to calculate the amount of data or cells that contain numbers
from the list of arguments. So, you can use the count function
in excel to get number of entries or many appearance of the
data number (number) of a range or array.
