This document presents a study on the patterns of mass media use and its impact in Rangpur District, Bangladesh. The study aims to explore mass media use patterns in rural and urban areas, categorize users, and investigate the impact of mass media on users. A descriptive research design is used with a sample of 100 media users selected purposively. Data will be collected from both primary and secondary sources and analyzed using MS Word, Excel, and SPSS. The expected outcomes are identifying mass media use patterns, classifying media and users in the study area, and examining the impact of media on users.
