Position : Central Planning Maintenance Planner/Scheduler
Job Responsibilities :
 Principle contact and liaison between the maintenance department and operation planning. To
ensure the area, department or facilities in which they are assigned receive professional
maintenance service in a timely manner to ensure high equipment availability and
performance.
 Review all planned work request from assigned area and determine validity and accuracy of
information and engage the appropriate resources to set a preliminary priority.
 Reviews work request for accuracy and clarity: clear scope of work, realistic completion date,
proper lead times, correct equipment identification, proper charge number (if applicable),
proper authorization, and discuss details with originator of the work order.
 Identifies work requiring engineering design and reviews them with engineering.
 Escalates issues to the Reliability Manager for work which does not appear to be valid or
costly.
 Review the work to be performed and determine the best way to accomplish the work. They
will consult with Leads, Supervisors, Originator, Production Supervisors, Planner/Schedule
and Stores as necessary.
 Obtain and organize all information required for the crafts to perform the work: drawings,
vendor manual, supplemental instructional materials, special procedures, and other file
material which is appropriate. Supplement this information by preparing any additional
sketches, drawings, diagrams, notes, or any instructional material which will clarify the work
to be performed.
 Identifies and secures all parts and material required to complete the work by providing stores
a Bill of Material for the work order and any special kitting instructions.
 Work with Stores to manage spare part usage to maximize turns but minimize risk of using
critical spares.
 Approach all aspect of the work being performed with safety as the highest priority.
 Provide job estimates based on craft or skills required, sequence required and number
required.
 Provide a total cost estimate for the work to be performed: labor, material, and outside
services.
 Manage the status of work control and backlog for work order submission to work order
completion. Status may include: waiting for planning, waiting parts, ready to schedule,
scheduled, etc.
 Verifies all material, information, tools and Labor are available prior to scheduling.
 Works with Maintenance leads, supervisors and planners to determine resource availability
and work to level the work force.
 Develops a preliminary workforce schedule by crew ensuring all skills requirement and
resource availability is met.
 Actively participate in scheduling meeting with operation partners to finalize priority of work
orders, optimum downtime windows, and necessary lead times.
 Finalize the Maintenance resource schedule based on agreed plan with production.
 Follow up and communicates schedule to all resources: maintenance, production, outside
services, stores and engineering.
 Issue scheduled work orders with job plan packets to supervisors.
 Follow up with supervisors and lead to ensure that completed work job packets are turned in
with improvement comments in a timely fashion.
 Manage a backlog of work orders which require major or significant portion of the facility to
be shutdown.
 Continuously improves the job estimate, planning and scheduling by receiving feedback from
maintenance supervisors, maintenance leads, production supervisors, engineers and
production planners.
 Keep accurate metrics on the performance of planning and scheduling functions and provide
timely reports to the Reliability manager.

Job Responsibilities :
 Plan maintenance activities of the E, I & A Maintenance crew to execute routine
maintenance activities. (Corrective/breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance).
 Evaluates maintenance notifications for its accuracy & act’s according to priority in SAP.
 Maintain & construct work packages according to the job requirements
 Creates job plans for critical job which includes preparation of job scope, estimating
duration of job, identify & selecting skills needed, materials, special tools, special
equipment, drawing and documentation.
 Ensures proper planning & scheduling for each notification’s in terms of men, material,
services & scheduling date with the consultation of Operation Area Supervisor and in
coordination with Maintenance.
 Generates and distribute the Weekly Schedule Report to all areas concerned and to
maintenance supervisors, the Monthly Scheduled and Overdue PM reports to all personnel
concerned as per manual.
 Follow up and ensure availability with the outside Services Group and all outside
contractors for routine corrective jobs and ensure availability.
 Ensures optimum spares for all equipment is available by working with Material
Specialists.
 Ensure order confirmation data is entered and generate report as and when required.
 Review weekly backlogs; control backlogs; and, promptly close and complete backlogs.
 Generate purchase request and subsequently follow-up with SMO until completion.
 Perform tasks and assignments in a timely manner and execute maintenance plans
according to safety and company standards.
 Participate as requires in Contract tendering, quotation reviews, comparative statements
and contract finalization.

Position : Instrumentation Engineer / Supervisor
Job Responsibilities :
 Ultimately responsible for the safety of everyone on site during working hours. Enforces
the company Safety policies, standards and regulations where applicable for all personnel.
 Hold regular discussions with the team members to improve their overall skills. Identify
deficiencies and arrange refresher training.
 Provide on-job training and spend enough time to train subordinates ensuring seriousness
and effectiveness on the trouble shooting and repair techniques to minimize the down
time.
 Spends considerable time on developing Division manpower plans, Division budgets,
Division work plans and challenges. Conducts performance appraisals for direct
subordinates and review Technical/Maintenance Division personnel performance
appraisals.
 Work closely with Area Operations Specialist and Operations Supervisors & Technicians
by troubleshooting operating problems, and suggesting operating techniques and / or
plant changes as appropriate to achieve short and long term goals. Also enhances the
principle of teamwork between the divisions.
 Supervise and coordinates units during trouble shooting, repair, start-up and shutdown in
terms of safety, operation and maintenance activities. Ensures compliance with time
schedules for start-up and shutdown.
 Conduct regular tour in the field, physically check the job site area safety, housekeeping
and all area work activities are performed safely, review Job Safety Analysis before
commencing the job and sign all work permits in the field.
 Ensuring the technicians are trained on instrument Equipment Quality Assurance (EQA)
manual and PM.
 Supervise and allocates work to the instrument technicians to ensure work is within the
instrument technician's level and capability.
 Documents and maintains records and instrument information required for the area of
responsibilities.
 Collects monthly preventative maintenance schedules, weekly backlog reports and daily
emergency work requests and priorities work for team. Schedules repair, preventative and
coordinates any workshop overhaul maintenance work on a long and short term basis.
 Checks work notification in SAP for adequacy of data and proper authorization, contacts
Operations Supervisors in assigned area to arrange access, identify priorities or obtain
clarification, liaises with planning office to estimate man-hours, skill and spare parts or
tool needs; and establishes daily program of work, postponing or bringing forward jobs to
maximize efficient use of resources and minimize operational down time and service
factors. Identifies work requirements to be accomplished during shutdown or during other
scheduled and unscheduled operational downtime periods, and plans individual jobs in
such cases.
 Provides technical help and direction to technicians to ensure that work requests are
promptly and efficiently completed. Determines appropriate course of action to
troubleshoot serious problems or faults untraced by technicians. Ensures the receipt of
preventative maintenance checklists completed by technicians and follows up on any
resultant work requests. Checks the wearing or use of standard and/or specialized
protective clothing or equipment. Ensures that work, store, tools, equipment and
workshop areas are kept in a neat and tidy condition, and that tools, testing equipment and
workshop devices are used in a responsible manner. Explains Standard Maintenance
Procedures and safety rules to technicians as necessary.

 Bench calibration of various transmitters (flow meter, temperature, pressure, level and
etc.), pressure relief valves, control valves and different gauges.

 Engage in loop checking and pre-commissioning of process instruments and fire and gas

 Review the inspection test plan (ITP) for instrument, to maintain the proper procedure for
the process inspection and to determine the hold point in the inspection test plan.

to determine the quality of the delivered items, such as control valves, all kinds of
transmitters and instrument panels, and prepare a receiving inspection report for the final
approval of client representative.
 Witness, record and approved the instrument inspection and test calibration as determined
by the relevant QCP/ITP procedures approved by the contractor and the company.
 Check pneumatic and electrical instrumentation system for proper installation including
tagging, supports, accessibility, correct materials, and ratings and calibrating fittings,
synchronize transmitter and receiver readings for instruments.
 Check instruments and tag data supplied against specifications sheet (Type, range,
materials etc.).
 Check test equipment that have standard accuracy for items to be tested better than the
vendors stated accuracy for instruments to be tested as required by company requirements.
Interval between calibration shall not exceed three months for all field test equipment
