2. INTRODUCTION
• Solid waste management is one of the major
environmental concerns worldwide. Over past many
years industrial by-products are being used in civil
engineering applications. In this project, we are using
two waste products
• Stone dust, which is a by-product of quarry
• Rubber powder, which is a steady stream of large
waste.
• fly ash,an industrial waste.

10. CONCLUSION
WMM mix2 of sample -B got high strength and high maximum dry
density compared to conventional wet mix macadam. By using this
mix in pavements, reduce the use of conventional materials like
course aggregates. the increased CBR strength in WMM can
reduce the thickness of the pavement.. Epdm rubber, stone dust and
fly ash creates dumping issues and air pollution when it is exposed
to the environment. So that epdm rubber, stone dust and fly ash
using in base course leads to positive effective to environment and
also it is the one way of disposal of epdm rubber and fly ash. The
usage these industrial waste products in below surface layers of
pavement, it leads to decrease of the pollution by industrial waste.
