6. General out-line for preparing for exam:
• Make a study plan.
• Know the syllabus
• Collect all the text books and necessary notes
and guides and refer the same.
• Know chapter wise break-up of marks
• Collect previous 3-5 years question papers and
new model question papers.
• Start the revision at least before ONE week from
exam.

8. Some points to be taken care while
studying:
• Start your day with Namaz-e-Fajr.
• Do some Tilawat-e-Quran.
• Generally use one particular place for study.
• Have every thing you need for study at hand.
• Keep Exam Time Table, Calendar and study plan on the
wall or table.
• Use sufficient and even light.
• Avoid Radio, TV and other distracting stimuli.
• Avoid heavy meals before starting studies.
• Avoid strenuous(lot of physical mental efforts) work
before starting studies.
• Avoid studying similar material one after the other, so
that one interferes or inhabits the other.

• Do not memorize, try to understand.
• How often you read the material is not
important, how you read is more important.
• Do practice by writing down.
 Math formulae and Execises
 Science diagrams
• Mark/underline the important points.
• If you do not understand consult the teacher
as soon as possible.
• Develop a link between long answers.
 History: remember Name of kingdom, region, time
period, Kings and there important works.
 Languages: Read the whole chapter and
remember the characters and gist.

10. In the Last moments…
• Do not attempt to “cram() ” whole night before
examination.
• Have good sleep in the night before the examination.
• Take an overview of all the chapters.
• Review all important points/formulae.
• Reach the examination center at least half an hour
before.
• Remember to take all necessary material for exam viz.
hall ticket, pen, pencil, rubber, scale, compass,
protractor etc.
