2. LECTRA MODARIS – PATTERN MAKING SOFTWARE
 Modaris is one kind of CAD software from Lectra which used in garments
industry. It used to increase the productivity of the designer, improve the
quality of design, improve communications through documentation, and to
create a database for manufacturing.
 Lectra Modaris pattern cutting software is a key tool in pattern production.

3. HISTORY OF LECTRA
 Lectra was founded in 1973 by engineers
Jean and Bernard Etcheparre.
 The first machine enabled a piece of
clothing to be cut in all sizes from a
cardboard pattern.
 The company launched its first CAD
systems for apparel making in 1976.
Lectra initially launched its Modaris
software in 1984.
 Its onscreen pattern modification and
design systems are widely used in the
textile industry, including fashion schools
and colleges.

5. Lectra Modaris New file open and size
Install and Open modaris Software
Tap on “File”
option and
click on
“new”
Give a title
and click on
“lock”

6. Set File “Access Paths” by tap on “File” bar
Click on “Access Paths” and Insert Exact File destination
and Click on “OK” Button

7. Tap on “sheet” and
click on “new sheet”

8. “Title blocks” & “New Sheet”

9. Make a Documet file and write “alpha” and Insert
All size and
highlight expected size like “*S”

10. Go to “F7” select “Imp.Evt” and click on this “new sheet”
and open document/ notepad file
