Cell is the basic structural, functional and biological unit of all known living organisms. Cells are the smallest unit of life that can replicate independently, and are often called the "building blocks of life".

 You might have also heard that cells are the building blocks that create life.
 Now some of you may question that why is only “cell” is called building block and not others
 So before I answer you why only cell is called as building block my question to you is ?
 What is the your house made of?
 Same way our body is also made up of cells.
 Ever wondered what makes up your skin, organs or muscles?
 Fasten your seatbelts. You are about to see a world that is all around you, and yet so small
that you probably have never seen it.

3. Cells are the basic building blocks of all living things. The human body is composed of trillions
of cells.
 Group of cells make a tissue
 Group of tissues performing the same function make an organ.
 Many organs functioning together make an organ system
 Many such organ systems constitute a living organism
