 Ras Laffan Leak Testing Project with Nitrogen N2 99% & He 1% .
Location: RasLaffan, Doha, Qatar in 2011.

WORK RESPONSIBILITY:
 Work with the night shift crew of 4 personnel, with a Nitrogen spread of 1xNitrogen pump, 1xHelium
Pump & Helium Racks , Nitrogen Tanks.
 Focal point on site for BHI AND CLIENT.

 Dewatering, Batching & Nitrogen Packing of 12” & *8” lines.

 Rig up and function test of Nitrogen Pump and the entire rig up as per spread layout.
 Interface with Client and focal point between Client and BHI on site.

 Responsible for arranging all the Equipments according to the Load Out list .
 Responsible for function test all the Bingham Pumps, Feed Pumps and compressors, Chemical Pumps
and the entire rig up as per spread out.
 Carry out general maintenance.
 Operate Bingham pumps for Pigging and Chemical Pumps and Compressors and to monitor the logs.
 Report job progress to BHI Project Manager & Field Engineer.
 Monitor job progress of every stage of the activities by via mathematical calculations.

 Nitrogen Helium Leak Testing in Dubai Petroleum Offshore .

 Prepare equipment for mobilization to site. Ensure all equipments and instrumentation is calibrated

 Rig up of Nitrogen pump, function test of Nitrogen unit and carry out general maintenance.
 Operate Feed pump, Flooding Pump and Booster Pump .
 Shift in charge for Receiver End for receiving the pigs during Flooding & Dewatering and Monitoring
the Pressure during hydro testing and Nitrogen Packing.
 At all times work in compliance with the requirements of BHI/Customer HSE procedures.
 Spool Testing of 24” spools and FCG of 32” lines.

 Operate Booster pumps for spool testing and Receiving the Pigs and Monitoring the Pressure in
Receiver side (offshore) in accordance with BHI equipment operating procedures.
 Keep BHI Supervisor/Engineer informed at all times of the equipment status and job progress.
 Carry out general maintenance & pre-job checks to ensure Pumps, Compressors & Dryers are in good
condition.
 Perform necessary calculations for the pre-engineering of further activities.
 At all times work in compliance with the requirements of BHI/Customer HSE procedures.
 Dewatering of 14” Pipeline and Nitrogen Helium Leak Testing the 14” line Spread up to a
certain limit.

WORK RESPONSIBILITY::
 Equipment preparation for complete Project and Function test prior to pressurization, system
preparation by reading P&ID.
 Perform all Pumping Operation using Fluid Pumps and Oil Tanks, Boilers and Heat Exchangers
Compressors.
 Report the progress of pumping operations and submit Nitrogen Log report to Job Supervisor as
per BHI JOB procedure. Perform necessary system calculations for pre-engineering of further
activities.
 At all times work in compliance with the requirements of BHI/Customer HSE requirements.
 Nitrogen Purging of 32” and 4 “ lines
Location: Qatar Offshore WHP-2, 1& 3 platform (2014)

WORK RESPONSIBILITY:
 System preparation ( Rig-up) of the Receiver spread as per the job procedure.
 Perform periodic line walk as to inspect the system for any defects while work.
 To do the Pressure monitoring procedure for de-watering activities. Also to do the necessary
paper work.

 Rig up and function testing of PSM Cementing Unit as per the job procedure, and carry out pre &
post job checks in compliance with job specific/HSE procedures & PTW systems.
 Responsible to Run the PSM unit for Pressure testing in the well for Tubing, DST , Coil Tubing ,
Completion tools.
 Responsible to Pump Brine in through Coil Tubing while Running in in the Open hole in the well.
 Responsible to Pump Acid through Coil tubing .
 Responsible for inventory for all the Chemicals and Spares of BHI on board and carry out proper
maintenance and manage the Loading / Back Loading of Equipments .
