Hazira Unit)
Handled crude / vacuum distillation unit AG Piping / Structural job from
construction to commissioning / Gas Turbine / HRSG execution job till
commissioning. Prepared work schedules, defined and coordinated specific
activities and work tasks, assigned and allocated resources to completing
activities and developing an acceptable budget. Reviewed biweekly meeting
with contractors and team engineers to resolve problems or convey right
progress to the management. Ensured compliance of work as per specifications
codes, standards, and drawings and monitored shutdown.
Significant Achievements:
Site In-charge for the VDU plant. Played a major role in concluding the
construction & commissioning of Crude & Vacuum Distillation Unit Above
ground piping work involving approx 7.5 Lac inch meter of CS/AS piping
Successfully completed three major shutdowns for debottlenecking of
refinery and commissioning 30 MW Gas Turbine (Frame 6) and 140Ton
HRSG in Hazira, Petrochemical unit.
Successfully resolved the issue of leakage of lube oil from main bearings of
Gas Turbine.
May’95 – June’96 with Assam Carbon Products Ltd., Guwahati as
Maintenance Engineer
Successfully developed and commissioned cyclone separators before
exhaust to atmosphere.
