As Head of Performance Management & Improvements, I am responsible for the Preventive &
Predictive maintenance Effort, developing yearly Maintenance Division Performance contracts,
identifying Key performance indicators for the Head office functions and the workshop, reviewing
existing Business processes and carrying out improvements. Providing reports of all Key indicators on a
monthly basis, for review of Executive Management. Am directly responsible for creating a framework
for Reliability centered maintenance and carry out implementation of RCM as a key maintenance
strategy of the company. I am also involved in providing support for carrying out major maintenance of
the rigs byway of Planningandmonitoring.
Brief employmenthistoryinNDC:
Joined National Drilling Company in Nov. 1995 as Electrical Engineer and was posted in the head office.
Was responsible for all Electrical issues related to Drilling rigs, including trouble shooting of major
problems on rig site, preparing detailed scope of work for repair of electrical equipment, entering into
service contracts with qualified third party workshops in the UAE, providing PMS work schedules to rigs
2. and monitoring the completions, carrying out inspections of ongoing works at third party workshops and
Technical auditsonrig sites.
In the year 2002, promoted to the position of Team Leader and was given the additional responsibility to
implement SAP PM & PS modules. Was also responsible for the providing support to the rigs with
regardsto specializedthirdpartyrepairs,servicesandrequiredcertifications.
From the year 2004 was given additional responsibility to manage Major Maintenance ( Shut down)
projects. The job involved detailed project planning for 7 to 8 such projects in a year each costing 10 to
15 million Dhs. Each (depending upon the scope, upgrade required etc.), starting from rough cut scope
to issuance of Close out report. The jobs requires meticulous planning, both cost and schedule and
managing resources to ensure delivery of projects within cost, time with the required quality and with
an excellentHSErecord.
In the year 2013 promoted as Head of Performance Management and Improvement, a position that I
continue tooccupypresently.

1) SAPimplementation
Was Team leaderforimplementationof PM& PS ( Partial) module of SAP. Producedcomplete blueprint
document,roadmap,detailedbusinessflow charts,andconductedworkshopswithidentifiedteamsto
complete the implementationwithinthe scheduled time inOctober2002. A lotof add-onshave been
introducedinthe systemwithlessonslearntoveraperiodof time tomake the systemrobust,user
friendlyandreliable.
2) ISO9001
Carriedoutimplementationof ISO9001: 2008 bothin Maintenance Division HOandthe Workshopand
succesedtoobtainISO9001:2008 certificationfromABS. Prepared NDCWorkshopQMSmanual
complete withall Mandatoryandrequiredworkinstructions.
3) ProjectPlanningguidelines - Preparation
Establishedprojectplanninginthe company,bycreatinga projectplanningguidelines foraproject,
