Professional Biography
Offering a track record of cost savings, shrink reduction, and streamlined property management for large
scale government organizations and in support of key federal contractors, Mr. Rodney Foust is a highly
experienced professional with a deep blend of experience in logistics, warehouse management, and
supply chain coordination. His strategic outlook allows him to maintain complete accountability for
million-dollar property books to meet strict and rigorous organizational goals and customer objectives.
Currently, Mr. Foust is with IAP as the ILS Manager / Program Manager. In this position, he adeptly
trains, manages, and supervises Afghanistan Military team members in the successful management of the
Minster of Defense warehouse and Special Wing Mission, which includes 3 Forward Operating Supply
Depots in Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif (MeS) and Kandahar. He leverages his keen knowledge of government
systems, military requirements, and warehouse administration to successfully lead his teams to pass
comprehensive audits—including two government inspections for the Warehouse and Hazmat Yard under
his management during the first audit. Overall, he is responsible for $681K+ worth of government
equipment to meet 100% accountability goals.
Directly previous to this, he spent a few tenures with government contracting companies in Afghanistan
—Sentel in Kandahar as a Process Coordinator Inspector, DynCorp in Kandahar as a Supply Management
Specialist, and Computer Science Corporation in Sharana as a Logistics Analyst. In each of these roles,
Mr. Foust brought his well-developed expertise in databases, automated and manual systems, heavy
equipment operation, and warehouse support management to ensure cost containment and complete
accountability for millions of dollars in equipment and materials for military agencies. His expert
leadership allowed his logistics and warehousing teams to meet all processing goals and deliver notable
assistance to the government in attaining mission objectives. He earned recognition from his senior
managers for his expertise in managing databases and information tracking while developing new storage
layout plans that optimized labor, reduced errors, and supported positive inventory audit results.
While with the United States Army, Mr. Foust built an honorable tenure of service in both reservist and
active duty roles. As a Supply Supervisor and Inventory Manager, he oversaw daily warehouse and
logistics operations in direct support of a 140-member team with accountability for a $14M property
book. By leveraging his exceptional work ethic and sound logistics planning talents, he contributed to
ensuring 100% readiness for a critical Middle Eastern operation and earned the Army Achievement
Medal for his excellent performance.
Previous roles in his career include Distribution Supervisor for Sears Holding Company in
Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and as Security Officer for Dupont in Wilmington, Delaware.
Mr. Foust attained several high level degrees from Wilmington College including a Master of Science in
Public Administration, a Master of Science in Transportation & Business Logistics, and a Bachelor of
Science in Criminal Justice. His professional development credentials include trainings and certifications
in Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management, Overview of Acquisition Ethics, DoD
Government Purchase Card, Defense Logistics Agency Support to the PM, PBUSE Certified, and
completion of a Dale Carnegie Course. He also possesses a current Secret Security Clearance.
