Solution: 𝑃(5,5)

= 120
Example 2: In how many ways can you arrange 6 different
potted plants in a row?
Solution: 𝑃(6,6)
= 6! = 6 × 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1
= 720 𝑤𝑎𝑦s

Solution: There are 11 letters of the word.

= 11 ∙ 10 ∙ 9 ∙ 8 ∙ 7 ∙ 6 ∙ 5 ∙ 4 ∙ 3 ∙ 2 ∙ 1
