2. This is a model of the
life cycle of a butterfly
and was created at
home.
At the end of the
science lesson pupils
would be able to
identify the different
stages and create a
model for themselves
in a unique manner.
3. The simple model demonstrated about the life
cycle of a butterfly, can be easily created and
used by students. By allowing students to
create this model it would greatly assist them
with observing, recalling and understanding
the life cycle and stages of a butterfly. I would
use creating this model as a fun activity.
4. Decoding Activity: after receiving the model
students are to observe “read” the
manipulative in groups, and share their ideas.
Encoding Activity: students are to create a
model of the life cycle of a butterfly in a unique
manner, using construct paper, clay, plaster of
paris and other materials.
