Westland Farm had a successful 2014 growing season, with a total harvest of over 6,000 pounds of produce. Over 3,500 volunteer hours were contributed by 856 individuals and 20 groups. The farm's goals for 2014 included increasing the number of core volunteers, improving soil and record keeping, and experimenting with garden designs. A variety of crops were grown including brassicas, solanaceae, cucurbits, and other vegetables. The harvest was donated to food agencies and helped feed over 5,000 people in need.
