5. Introduction
Have you ever wondered how to make healthy macaroni and
cheese?
I have always wanted to make a healthy macaroni and cheese
now I know how to. I am going to teach YOU how to make it
too.
6. Ingredients
8oz. (about 2 cups)elbow pasta
8 oz. (about 2 cups)shredded cheese (sharp cheddar)
12 cup greek yogurt
2 cups of fresh spinach
Salt & Pepper
14 tsp. onion powder
14 tsp. garlic powder
7. Instructions
Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions
(about 810 minutes), until al dente.
Place the spinach leaves in the bottom of strainer, and pour
the pasta over top to drain and wilt the spinach. Save about
½ cups of the pasta water . Return the cooked macaroni and
wilted spinach to the pot.
Add about ¼ cup or the reserved pasta water to the pot, stir
in the cheese until melted . Stir in the greek yogurt , onion
powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, until smooth and
creamy. Stir in the remaining paste water to thin, if
necessary. Server immediately.
