• Use of cover crops for erosion control and improve organic
matter in soil.
• Follow all rules and regulations according to the USDA Organic
Standards NOP and beyond
• Use crop rotation to avoid disease and reduce pests
• We start all of our own transplants in organic potting mix and
source certified organic seed
• We do not plant genetically modified seed or treated seed
• We do not use herbicides, fungicides, or pesticides
4. What is a CSA?
CSA - Community Supported Agriculture
• An agreement for an entire growing season between the farmer and the CSA member
• The CSA member pays the farmer up front and in return the farmer grows the food
and shares it with the member. With the purchase of a CSA Share, the farm has the
funds to get the season going, can focus on growing, and knows that the veggies will
go to a good home.
• The farmer and the member share the risks and the bounty of farming together.
• The CSA member knows their farmer personally and gains insight into how and where
their food is grown.
• Farm events throughout the season that are entertaining and educational
5. What is a weekly CSA share?
• CSA shares are seasonal and change weekly depending on what is
ready for harvest.
• Your vegetables are harvested and packed fresh daily
• You will receive a weekly email about what is in the share for the
week with recipes, tips, and farm news.
• We deliver to your specified location.
• You bring home your veggies and enjoy!
