Verbs are the hearts of English sentences.

They are also related to a lot of other factors like
the subject, person, number, tense, mood, voice,
etc.

They show the actions, events and states. They can stand alone, or

They conform their simple past and past participle form by following
the spelling rules. We usually only had “ed” or “d” at the end of the
base form.

consonant and add “ed”.

➢ Verbs ending consonant + Y = add “ied” at the end
