it protect?
Copyright is the right to own a piece of work that you have made. This is a law so
know one else can use your work with out your permission, For example an artist
owns the right to his painting and anyone else who uses it can be fined/charged
for using it.
2. 2. How can you use ‘Copyright Hub’ to get
permission to use images?
When accessing he website you can see a source of images, music and various others work that you can use by
getting permission from them, you can also provide them with information on a particular piece of work and
they can try to find out how you get the legal requirements to use it for find it for you and direct you to the
website or organisation contact details which you would purchase the work from.
3. What are the organisations that you can
contact to gain access to use images legally?
There are many websites that you can use to purchase/acquire images from, which is useful for people to use
for independent work but you’re a massive company you would most likely source your own images to save
money, for example kerrange magazine would have there own photographers. Websites that you can gather
images from are BAPLA, BBC, DACS and Getty Images.
