WORK EXPERIENCE
MAKS Industries Hyderabad, India
Industrial Engineering Trainee – Case Study
• Gained hands on experience on the detailed process of manufacturing pulleys
• Used raw materials and developed a fully functional pulley
• Performed molding, casting, finishing and testing of the final product based on various case studies
PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Wayne State University
Deterministic Optimization Academic Project
• Lead group of 4 for the Deterministic Optimization of Salt dispensing project at Wayne State University
using different optimization techniques. Computed random data using Dynamic Optimization technique and
transportation methods.
• Documented & Calculated multi-media report in MS Excel, Minitab and documented the whole project
stages using MS project.
• Presented project for the university at main symposiums to reduce the cost incurred to maintain road safety
procedures during winters.
Wayne State University
Integrated Product Development Academic Project - Designing
• Designed and fabricated a customized chair for musicians using Auto Cad after conduction market research.
• Conducted the Iteration process for manufacturing this product, conducted focus groups, QFD quality charts
for required features, designed the product using AutoCAD.
• Conducted focused survey groups for feedback, and maintained timeline chart for post and pre-production
ramp up procedure.
• The entire process of product development is followed from planning to production ramp up in this project.
Wayne State University
Quality Management Systems Project
• Introducing an innovative product (gravity light in this case) into the market.
• Drawing the QFD chart from the voice of customer.
2. • A prototype of the product was drawn in CAD.
• The failure mode effects analysis (FMEA)chart is drawn to analyze failures in the product.
Wayne State University
Computer Aided Manufacturing Project
• Internet of Things (IoT) app for the customer workflow visibility
• The target market has been identified and the customer requirements have been sketched out to draw the
Quality Function Deployment (QFD) Table.
• A pseudo app was created from the prioritization of the requirements through the QFD table.
• The app has been designed for external (customers) and internal (stakeholders) use.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University
Optimization of Surface Roughness
• Optimization of Surface roughness by Grinding of EN-19 Steel which produces a better finish than a turned
EN-19 Steel
• Obtained optimal surface roughness by ANOVA using a particular data of feed, speed and depth of cut of
turned EN-19 steel which were regulated to obtain the best surface finish.
• The Obtained values were used for grinding the En-19 steel to obtain an even better finish.
