5. Introduction to Computer
A computer can be defined as an electronic device, which manipulates
data or information and has the capability and ability to process, store,
and retrieve data.
It can be used for document typing, internet searching, surfing, and
emailing. Computer can also be used in handling accounting,
spreadsheets, database management, games, and presentations.
The development and production of the present-day computer is
credited to the result of advances.

9. Mouse: The mouse, sometimes called a pointer, is a hand-operated
input device used to maniple
ate objects on a computer screen.
Key-Board: A computer keyboard is a typewriter-style device which
uses an arrangement of buttons or keys to act as mechanical
levers or electronic switches
Camera: A web camera is an input device because it captures a
video image of the scene in front of it. It is either built in to the computer
(e.g. laptop) or it is connected through an USB cable.

11. Monitor:
A computer monitor is an output device that displays information
in pictorial form. A monitor usually comprises the display device, circuitry,
casing, and power supply.
Printer:
A printer is an output device that prints paper
documents. This includes text documents, images, or a
combination of both.
Speakers:
speaker are popular output device used with computer systems. They receive
audio input from the computer's sound card and produce audio output in the
form of sound waves.

12. STORAGE UNIT
Storage unit holds all kinds of data .
There are two kinds of storage unit .
1. Primary Storage, 2. Secondary Storage.
Primary storage:
1. Used to hold running program instructions
2. Used to hold data, intermediate results, and results of ongoing processing of job
4. Fast in operation
5. Small Capacity & Expensive
6. Volatile

Arithmetic Logic Unit of a computer system is the place where the actual executions
of instructions takes place during processing operation.
