All the above publications had very tough competition and it was very challenging

Sakal Media Group decided to open their own office in Bangalore from
15.08.2007. Got an opportunity to join them on rolls as Assistant Manager – Sales

5. WIPRO CFL
There are many achievements to write but few are very important. Played key role
in New Brand Launch for Wipro CFL:
Wipro CFL – Re-launch activity in Pune. What’s Rajesh’s role in re-launch? The
communication was very critical and Pune being launch market for any new Brand.
Its success starts from Pune.
Wipro introduced TITO – Robot to show efficiency of Brand. The big challenge was
how to introduce Tito into Market.
The solution…….
Created a window for Wipro CFL – Tito and the objective was to introduce Tito in
Pune market followed by commercial being aired in SAAM. We integrated a subject
Tito in Limbu Timbu Game Show and made Tito to stand among the audience and
entertain. Anchor mentioning about the Tito, and explaining about the CFL Brand
how it helps in power efficiency. The main attraction in the show was Tito. We had
6 episodes for the Brand and it was integrated very well in the program.
The Brand achieved the set objective since it was TV and ground integrated
initiative and to seize the Brand recall, Wipro released a 400 sq cms colour
advertisement in SAKAL on Front Page position.
KS&DL:
They are not regular advertisers for Maharashtra and being a Government
organization it was challenging for me to deliver results with limited budgets.
Media - Magazine – Saptahik Sakal- Family Weekly, Premier – Film Magazine and
Tanishka – Women monthly.
KS&DL has different variant and offerings. Suggested to take 5 full pages in each
Magazine during Diwali season. KS&DL has premium soap gift packs and
understand from KS&DL that the gift packs were sold enormously.
TITAN - SONATA
When they signed Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Indian Cricket skipper, Sonata wanted to
have innovation options in Film Page. We have created Island position in Marathi
Film Page.

Brand integration in SAAM Kitchen program and Sakal Vidrabha edition and
Tanishka Magazine for Eastern spices special ingredients. The total deal was Rs.15
lacs + tax.
ITC FOODS – Masala
Created special section in Saptahik Sakal for ITC Masala products and requested
readers to send recipes using ITC Masala and the selected recipes published and ITC
presented gifts to winning recipes. It was very successful concept and we got very
good response from readers.
