It is a way of drugs to introduce in body
A route of administration in pharmacology and toxicology is
the path by which a drug, fluid, poison, or other substance is
taken into the body.

5. Oral
Drugs taken by mouth with water or milk or other liquid
and desolved in Stmooch or intestines . It is oldest rout of
administration

6. Parentral
• Parenteral administration can be
performed by injection, that is using
a needle (usually a hypodermic
needle) and a syringe
• It may be IM, IV, Subcutaneous

8. Buccal or sublingual
• Sublingual administration is when
medication is placed under the tongue to
be absorbed by the body. The word
"sublingual" means "under the tongue."
Buccal administration involves placement
of the drug between the gums and the
cheek.

9. Rectal
Rectal administration uses the rectum as a
route of administration for medication and
other fluids, which are absorbed by the
rectum's blood vessels, and flow into the
body's circulatory system, which
distributes the drug to the body's organs
and bodily systems.

Most often topical administration means
application to body surfaces such as the skin or
mucous membranes to treat ailments via a large
range of classes including creams, foams, gels,
lotions, and ointments.

Transdermal is a route of administration
wherein active ingredients are delivered
across the skin for systemic distribution.
Examples include transdermal patches used
for medicine delivery.
