Hold requests allow users to reserve books that are currently checked out, placing them in a queue to borrow the book next. To place a hold, select "Get it" and "Request" for the book, fill out the request form noting the pickup location, and select "Request" again. When the book becomes available, the user will receive an email and can pick it up from the designated holds shelf.

Hold requests allow you to reserve a copy of book that is
on loan – once you request a book, you will be added to
a queue to borrow the book next, and once it is returned
and you are first in the queue, you will receive an email
to let you know.
The process has changed following our system upgrade,
so follow these steps to place a hold request on a book
that you need.
