template, creating annotations and tagging by categories.
 Creating spaces, zones for heat load calculation and also creating a zone color scheme.
 Creating duct by manually or automatic routing, sizing of ducts, inspecting of the ducts by
system inspector.
 Creating of pipes for chilled water supply and return, sizing of pipes, Inspecting by system
inspector.
 Placing sanitary plumbing fixture and creating a sanitary system, creating cold and hot
water system.

PROJECT UNDERTAKEN
Type: Office Space (ground floor+6 floors)
Location: Bangalore
Total area: 102,051 square ft.
Load calculation: 225 TR
Total CFM: 8500
 Architecture model:-
Linking the 2D file or CAD file into REVIT project & then developed architecture model using
architecture template.
 Heat load:-
 Creating spaces:
Creation of spaces within the room bounding element such as wall, roof & room
separation lines that exists in an architectural model.
 Creating a space properties schedule:
Created working schedule of the building space properties and defined the different
parameters to calculate the heat load.
 Creating zones:
After creating the spaces, created the zones for space function to maintain a common
environment like temperature, humidity, and so on.
 Performing heat load analysis:
Once creation of all spaces and defined respective parameters, conditioning system, and
space construction defined, the next step is to pull this all data into heat load analysis report.
 Equipment selection:-
After completing the heat load report selected the equipment’s depends on the types of air
conditioning system.
Chiller : Air cooled scroll chiller of 25 TR
: Two Water cooled screw chiller of 90 TR
Cooling tower : Induced draft cooling tower of 225 TR
AHU : Floor mounted AHU with top discharge
With requisite capacities of 6 row cooling
Aluminum fins.
Duct design:-
Based on the Air flow rate, calculated the duct size by using the Equal friction method. And
also calculated duct size using Mcquay duct size software.
 Air distribution:-
Selection of air distribution devices such as supply and return air diffusers, grills. These must
be selected to maintain noise level. And then placed the air terminals on the false ceiling and
these terminals are connected to the duct systemthrough the flexible ducts. Distribute air to the
rooms from the AHU unit through the duct system and air terminals.
 Fire protectionsystem:-
Selected the smoke detectors and then placed smoke detectors on the false ceiling to avoid
the fire hazards.
 Light system: -
As per the cable tray size created the cable tray layout and then placed the Lighting
fixtures.
PERSONALINFORMATION
STANDARDS REFERED
PROJECTPORTFOLIOLINK
 BOQ’S:-
Creation of scheduled quantities (BOQ or BOM) material used in the HVAC system.
 Bill of quantities of Duct and Duct fittings, Air terminals.
 Bill of quantities of pipe fittings and plumbing fixtures.
 Bill of quantities of lighting fixture, cable trays, and cable trays fittings.
