City of McMinnville, Oregon - Second Tunnel – Jacobs Engineering and HDR, Spring 2015
This $ 5,000,000 Second Tunnel construction project consisted of 36-inch, 2200 feet long HDD installed
steel pipe, designed by Jacobs Engineering was successfully completed in Spring of 2015. System
hydraulics, between the Water Treatment Plant and the City of McMinnville ( L= 10 mile of dual
transmission mains), their operational requirements and design of 36-inch L= 700 feet long ductile iron
pipe, upper and lower pipe interties consisting of automated valves and flow control equipment was
provided by Nesh Mucibabic, PE of HDR.
