1. My experience in Naples
Before
Before I came to Naples, a lot of people said me that I should pay attention about the
pickpockets, but in the three months here I never had a problem that someone would
like to steal my bag. The most people here a very friendly, frank and calm. I heard
before, that the neapolitan people are very loud, and I can say Sí! For me at the
beginning it was very weird, because I think a lot of times that the people are fighting,
but they only had a normal conversation. :D
The streets
The streets for me are very dangerous, because the most people don´t care about the
crosswalk or the traffic light. Sometimes when the traffic light was red, and for the
walkers it was green, you as a walker have to pay attention because the cars driving
in front of you over the traffic light. One thing that I found surprising too is the free
circulation of motorcycles in Naples. People ride them with no helmets on, and
especially in the historical center you see teenager's riding motorcycle's with their
friends.
The city
La città é molto bella e ha un sacco di cultura, but Naples is not an international city
and not many people speak English.
I had seen a lot of interesting things, like the museo di Capodimonte, the Vesuvio,
Pompeij, Castel Nuovo, the cathedral of Naples and more. The underground is
amazing too, soprattutto mi piace la stazione di Toledo with a big sortiment of art.
Mi piace il mare e il Vesuvio. I could sit every day at the sea or on the top of the
Vesuvio with the amazing view.
All in all, it´s chaotic and unorganised but with a lot of charm and beautiful sights.
p.s. I´m in love with the neapolitan pizza
The school
The school in Naples is different to the school in Berlin, because here are a short day
without breaks. In my school there are short breaks after 2 hours and a big break of
40 minutes after the half day. My schoolday in Naples begin at 8 o´clock and ends
latestly at half past 1 (mostly before 1 o´clock), in Berlin the day begins at half past 8
and ends at half past 2. In the school in Naples you don´t need to change the room for
every hour, the class change room only every day. In my school you have special
rooms for the subjects, so you change for every subject room and sometimes the
house.
The time here was very exciting for me, because I learned a lot of new things about la
cultura, la lingua e vedo un sacco di differenze alla vita a Berlino.
