The PCA Student Program Manager (SPM) leads and directs the efforts of the PCA Regional Coordinators and is support staff to Pearson’s Student Relations Manager. The Student Program Manager ensures each Regional Coordinator is able to provide top quality leadership and management to their teams of Pearson Campus Ambassadors.

Program Vision
The Pearson Campus Ambassador program directly supports the goals and vision of Pearson
Education by helping students succeed academically and get the most from their educational
materials.
Purpose
The PCA Student Program Manager (SPM) leads and directs the efforts of the PCA Regional
Coordinators and is support staff to Pearson’s Student Relations Manager. The Student Program
Manager ensures each Regional Coordinator is able to provide top quality leadership and management to
their teams of Pearson Campus Ambassadors.
Reports to
Student Relations Manager (SRM)
Roles & Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead and inspire a team of 10 - 15 Regional Coordinators
Share PCA program-wide best practices with all teams
Manage administrative compliance for all Regional Coordinators (timesheets, reporting, etc)
Help to establish ongoing training and support content for Regional Coordinators and Pearson
Campus Ambassadors
Help coordinate and track Pearson projects from product teams, marketing and other Pearson
staff
Create content for Students@Pearson newsletter and PearsonStudents.com
Participate in program leadership summit (July 27 – 29)
Lead monthly Regional Coordinators conference calls with Student Relations Manager
Monthly one-on-one call with Student Relations Manager
Develop Regional Coordinators into future Student Program Managers
Any other duties as assigned by the Student Relations Manager
Desired Qualifications
Participation in the Pearson Campus Ambassador or Pearson Student Advisory Board (PSAB)
program for at least one semester
Record of achievement as a PCA or PSAB member, and a student leader on campus
Willingness to work behind the scenes to lead a regional team
Ability to attend all required meetings and trainings
Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel
Eligibility
Must meet all eligibility requirements to be a Pearson Campus Ambassador
Commitment to work for the 2010-2011 academic year
Compensation
$10/hr

Average 5 – 10 hours per week
